“It’s in our DNA Divine Natural Attributes”

March 26, 2022

I woke up this morning singing and thanking God for the blood of Jesus. As I reflected on what the blood signifies and began making declarations over my life, I was reminded of a teaching and study I was doing concerning The Fall. Because I was reminded of this study I thought here would be a good place to share with you what I wrote August 21, 2021 -The Fall.

I’ve been itching to do a study about what the fall means and the connection between Nephilims and the fall of man and the fallen angels. Genesis chapter 3 introduces the fall of man and how sin comes into the earth and contaminates man. Eve is deceived by Satan who manifested as a serpent, snake, leviathan, etc. The word for deceive in Hebrew is “nasha” found in Genesis 3:13 associated with the serpent deceiving Eve. The word “Fall” typically has no good connotation unless you fall on your knees to worship God. or when the Holy Spirit falls on you and overtakes you other than that there’s nothing good about a fall. When it comes to the fall you either fall down fall in or fall away from something or because of someone. Falling usually is a result of stumbling. A fall also has to do with moral failure. So stop falling in love! I digressed.

In the Hebrew, Old Testament, Naphal means fall. In the Greek, New Testament, fall means pipto, to fall down and parapipto, to fall away or commit apostasy. As I was studying “The Fall”, I also was led to study the various meanings of the word “sin”. To trespass or transgress means to violate God’s revealed law and precepts. Trespass means to cross over from obedience to disobedience as what happened when “The Fall” occurred in Genesis 3rd chapter. Pasha means sinner or transgressor against God. Asham and ashmah means to be guilty of a violation against God or trespass against His law. In the times we are living in, the end times, we will witness an increase of believers in the body of Christ, trespassing against the truth of God’s word as they fall away from believing, seeking, and trusting Him and allow themselves to “trust the science” and be manipulated with disinformation from popular media platforms that intentionally lure believers into falling and becoming prey to the wiles of Satan.

I’ve also been doing a study on the Nephilims and Fallen angels and when ready I will release this work at a later time but I want to point some things out here. Satan is the influencer, the leader of the fallen angels (Rev. 12:9). They rebelled against God and were cast out of heaven to earth. They have been deceiving and tormenting mankind ever since, with one common goal, to destroy the DNA, God’s Holy Seed Jesus Christ, and His Holy children’s DNA. Satan desires to cause us to fall away from our faith in God and violate His word which is our roadmap to fulfill God’s call on our lives.

Now, I’m returning to my morning routine… I’m in my kitchen making my Saturday morning freshly ground organic French pressed coffee and meditating on I John 2:16 as I am meditating on “ The Fall” that began in the garden of Eden. I was preaching my typical morning sermonette it in the kitchen talking about how important it is for us to guard our hearts and have self-control over our desires and resist temptation etc. then I began to reflect on the chain of events that took place this week and once again I was stymied by the response given by the nominee for the Supreme Court justice, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson. I was taken aback by her response to a question asking her to define what the word woman meant and to hear her say “I’m not a biologist…” after having this look of confusion on her face caused me to react to her confusion by asking ..” well who do you say you are?”

We must guard our DNA our Divine Natural Attributes. Satan and his league of fallen angels are on a warpath to destroy God’s DNA flowing through mankind’s veins and they are deceiving His people into surrendering their God ordained identities! One of my topics that I frequently speak on is about identity crisis. At an event where I was a keynote, my title was “ If I knew Who I was I Wouldn’t Have Done What I did.” I shared how for years I made decisions predicated on what others saw in me and I suppressed the things I desired to do in my heart. I was told I was too black, too big, hair not good enough, not pretty enough, and so much more destructive external attacks, but my self-talk was even worse so I never pursued what I truly desired to become and settled for so little because I didn’t think I deserved any better. I have since grownup and matured in my walk with the Lord! God opened my eyes and taught me how to love what He created, how to love me, and that He didn’t make any mistakes when He formed me in my mother’s womb. He taught me who I am in Him. He solidified my identity.

Today’s devotional referenced one of my favorite scriptures, 2Peter 1: 3-8, 10

“His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall.” (ESV)

Our identity is in Christ Jesus. His blood that He shed for us contains the pure, unadulterated DNA God commissioned for us to have once we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. His blood enables us to be partakers, that is to be able to enjoy, and to participate in his Divine Natural Attributes aka His Supernatural Distinctions. Because His DNA flows in us, we are empowered to escape the foolish debilitating and deceptive laws and lies of the world. The world is so lost that it denies the power and existence of God and therefore it is not able to identify with the skillfully crafted design; the masterpiece of God’s work of art. We are God’s workmanship that he created with intention and purpose as part of his ordained plan and our destiny (Ephesians 2:10). There is much more that can be said about the value of knowing who you are but I will end this article with this, when you don’t know who you are you risk forfeiting your true purpose and never arriving at your right destination. I John 2:16 states “For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world”(ESV). The world, which is under Satan’s control and his fallen minions, is doing everything within his limited power to undo God’s ordained DNA that flows through us. He has unleashed such traumatic and paralyzing fear these past two years that because of fearfulness and lack of faithfulness, many have co-signed to partnering with the diabolical schemes of Satan. Even some of God’s elect has bought the lies and allowed fear to dictate their decisions without seeking the Lord in faith.

The cost of not knowing who we are and not protecting our DNA is taking a toll on the body of Christ. All of who we are is a threat to the enemy of our souls. “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” Genesis 1:27 ESV. It is our responsibility and privilege to protect and defend God’s DNA.
