In this birthing season, I want to encourage you to look at what you have accomplished and replay what you’ve said. Replay what you have been saying to yourself frequently. I’m talking about the words you whisper to yourself and speak to yourself in your mind, under your breath after you have loudly made your daily declarations/affirmations/confessions. The truth is this what we genuinely believe seeps from our hearts. What we believe in our heart is manifested when we speak. This principle is found & demonstrated throughout the Word of God. If we’re honest with ourselves, then we’ll admit much of what we don’t have is because we really didn’t believe or we believed without faith. We don’t have what we desire because somehow before the faith takes root in our hearts, our heart and our minds are at war and often our thoughts supersedes every desire and speaks louder than that which we say we believe.
We get so pumped about speaking declarations, but they’re empty words without believing as we are speaking. Our action, the catalyst that shifts beliefs into manifestation, is our faith. Faith is activated by our beliefs. It’s the substance, the core, the essence of our desired outcome. You can believe without faith, but you cannot have faith without believing. I believe I can become a millionaire, however, if I don’t take steps that lead to millionaire status, my believing it is as good as simply being a wish. My belief must fuel my faith. My faith is the corresponding action, the center of what I am believing for and it’s the driver, the action, to bring it to pass.
There is power in our words. Our words, our speaking, directs our faith. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing the word, in this case, the word of God, however, faith comes through hearing a repetition of words. Our minds create the visual needed for execution, these are mental images. What do you see when you speak? It’s imperative, especially as believers of Jesus Christ and the Word of God, to speak the words of God, over and over. This repetition shapes the mental image that strengthens our faith. Faith has vision but does not require sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7 says “..for we walk by faith, not by sight.” Faith does not require us to see in the natural what we are believing will happen. We must visualize what we are believing God to do for us. We need to “see it before we see it.” According to the New Oxford American Dictionary, “Vision is the ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or wisdom; it’s a mental image of what the future will or could be like.” This is how we live by or walk by faith.
Here are a few Bible verses to cling to during your faith walk:
“And Jesus answered them, “Have FAITH in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever SAYS to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but BELIEVES that what he SAYS will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, BELIEVE that you have received it, and it will be yours.”
Mark 11:22-24 ESV
“Blessed is she who believed that the word spoken to her from the Lord will be accomplished…” Luke 1:45

If you have not received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior then NOW is truly your season of New Beginnings! Jesus longs to have a relationship with you. It’s a very simple yet life-changing experience that only needs to happen once and for eternity. Simply repeat this prayer…”Dear Lord Jesus, I confess I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I also confess with my mouth and BELIEVE in my heart that Jesus died for my sins, all of my sins, and that through this acceptance of his death and that in 3 days, Jesus rose from death and is now and forever alive, I am cleansed from my sins and I am forever saved, in Jesus’ name…AMEN! Make sure to get a Bible if you don’t have one. You can download a free Bible app. and turn to the book of Romans 10:9-11. Here’s the Scripture text:
Romans 10:9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart, one believes and is justified, and with the mouth, one confesses and is saved.
11 For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”
(ESV-English Standard Version) AMEN! CONGRATULATIONS!! YOU ARE NOW SAVED AND A PART OF THE BODY OF CHRIST! Please let me know if you prayed this prayer and if you are attending a church, let the pastor or one of the ministers know you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior and your church family will give you your next steps.
God Bless you and thank you!
